TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian filmmakers have introduced 15 films and documentaries to the Asia Pacific Screen Awards 2009.

"My Tehran for Sale" by Granaz Mousavi, "Whisper with The Wind" by Shahram Alidi, "Ashkan, Sacred Circlet and Some Other Stories" by Shahram Mokri, "Heiran" by Shalizeh Arefpour, "A light in The Fog" by Panahbarkhoda Rezaee, "Penniless" by Hamid Nematollah, "Shirin" by Abbas Kiarostami and finally "Women without Men" by Shirin Neshat are the feature films produced by Iranian directors.

Also in the documentary section, "444 Days" by Mohammad Shirvani, "The Lady of Red Rose" by Mojtaba Mirtahmasb and "Siva" by Mehdi Moniri represent Iran in the cultural event.

Also "Niloufar" by Sabine Gemayel and "A Time for Loving" by Ebrahim Forouzesh have participated in children film section.


The 212 participating films have been selected from 43 countries and include 126 feature films, 51 documentaries, 18 animated features and 17 children's films.

The jury of the Asia Pacific Screen Award will announce the winners on November 26.
