Iranian Protest Banner Unfurled on Brooklyn Bridge

NEW YORK -- Iranians in exile had promised to make New York City green, the
color of the opposition movement back home in Iran. On Thursday, they marched
with a green banner stretched across the length of the Brooklyn
Bridge with signatures from across the world saying "Ahmadinejad is
not Iran's president."
Protesters marched with a green banner stretched across
the length of the Brooklyn Bridge.
The green scroll, as it's called,
measures one mile, holds statements from 190 cities and traveled to
Paris, the Hague, Sweden and now New York. It will be stored in a
warehouse here until its next destination is announced, according to
