Ms. Azodi of Covington, WA graduated from high school with a GPA of 4.00. She has a long list of volunteering, awards and leadership positions. She will pursue a degree in Biology/Psychology at Universityof Washington in Seattle, Washington.
 

Ms. Keyana Boka - $1000 Award

Ms. Boka of Bowling Green, KY graduated from high school with a GPA of 4.00 and class rank of 7/230. She has a long list of volunteering, awards and leadership positions. She will pursue a degree in Pre-Medicine at Western Kentucky University (Honors College) of Bowling Green, KY.

Ms. Ghazal Erfani - $1000 Award 

Ms. Erfani of Plainview, NY graduated from high school with a GPA of 3.95. She has a long list of volunteering, awards and leadership positions. She will pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering at The Cooper Union University in New York, NY.

Mr. Massoud Baradaran-Shoraka - $500 Award
Mr. Baradaran-Shoraka will attend University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, MD where he will pursue a degree in Microbiology and Cell Science.

Mr. Hamid Reza Baniasadi - $500 Award
Mr. Baniasadi attends Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where he is pursuing a PhD in Analytical Chemistry. Mr. Baniasadi is receiving a scholarship for the fourth year.

Mr. Herire Golnazarian - $500 Award
Mr. Golnazarian attends UCLA in Los Angeles, CA where he is pursuing a degree in Dentistry. Mr. Golnazarian is receiving a scholarship for the second year.

Ms. Minoo Khordehpaz - $500 Award
Ms. Khordehpaz will attend University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL where she will pursue a degree in Criminal Justice Technology & Forensic Science.

Ms. Sofia Mani - $500 Award
Ms. Mani will attend University of Colorado in Boulder, CO where she will pursue a degree in Integrative Physiology.

Ms. Sharareh Moazed- $500 Award
Ms. Moazed is attending California State University of Long Beach where she is pursuing a degree in Construction Engineering Management.

Ms. Saman Moniri - $500 Award
Ms. Moniri will attend University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she will pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering.

Mr. Arian Nasiri - $500 Award
Mr. Nasiri is attending University of Wisconsin (Madison School of Medicine and Public Health) in Madison, WI where he is pursuing a degree in Medicine.

Mr. Arash Nayeri - $500 Award 
Mr. Nayeri of Santa Monica, CA attends UC Berkeley, CA where he is pursuing a degree in Integrative Biology and Organic Chemistry. Mr. Nayeri is receiving a scholarship for the third year.

Ms. Sarah Nicole Pahlsander - $500 Award 
Ms. Pahlsander of Shawnee, KS attends Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS where she is pursuing a degree in Business.

Mr. Akhlaghpour is pursuing a PhD In Management from McGill University in Quebec, CANADA. Mr. Akhlaghpour is receiving a scholarship for the second year.

Mr. Seyed Ali Nayeri - $500 Award (ITALY) 
Mr. Nayeri is pursuing a Masters Degree in Structural Analysis of Historical Structures from Universita degli Studi di Padova, Italy.

Ms. Afrouz Razavizadeh - $500 Award (FRANCE) 
Ms. Razavizadeh is pursuing a Masters Degree in Artistic Projects from International Fine Arts School of Paris, France.

Mr. Aminollah Sabzevari - $500 Award (CANADA) 
Mr. Sabzevari is pursuing a degree in Law from University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Mr. Sabzevari is receiving a scholarship for the third year. 

Mr. Saeed Shobeiri - $250 Award (CANADA) 
Mr. Shobeiri of Montreal, QC, CANADA is pursuing a PhD degree in Business Administration (Marketing) from Concordia University - John Molson School of Business in Montreal, QC - Canada. Mr. Shobeiri is a sixth year recipient of our scholarship.

Momeni Foundation is dedicated to providing scholarships to graduating high school students and full time college students of Iranian descent anywhere in the world.

The idea of providing scholarships to students of Iranian descent originated in 1984. In an afternoon of pondering about life and setting goals, I realized that without the benefit of scholarships I could not have achieved what I was achieving in my life. At that time, I added the establishment of an organization dedicated to advance education and providing scholarships to students, to my list of 20-year plan. 

In 1993, I started a small local scholarship program through Iranian Professional Society of Oregon. In 1998, wanting to expand the program beyond the borders of the City of Portland, Momeni Family Fund, as part of Oregon Community Foundation, was established. Momeni Family Fund was involved in supporting educational and charitable organizations throughout Oregon until 2001. In February 2001, Momeni Foundation was established as the final stage of evolution of the original plan. 

It is my hope that the recipients will also, some day, establish their own scholarship programs.
