In this meeting Mir Hossein Mousavi while expressing sorrow
for the 5 month unjust imprisonment of Mohammad Reza Jalaipour in solitary
confinement during the past year said: "The tangible, apparent and growing signs
that are very much alive under the skin of society are the gradual decrease of
the number of the supporters of the government and the growth of the body of the
Green Movement. The events similar to these kinds of unjust and regrettable
treatments of elite, proud, lawful, ethical and spiritual youth are among the
factors that attracts more awake conscious and increases this rate of fall [of
the pro-government supporters] as well as the growth [of the Green Movement
supporters] and will create more cracks in the structure of beliefs and
positions of those opposing the Green Movement; and eventually show their
effects in the behaviors of these individuals who due to such blind actions
become doubtful and ultimately change."
In this meeting Dr. Zahra Rahnavard while expressing joy for the release of Mohammad Reza Jalaipour said: "Unfortunately many of these confrontations happen based on some day by day decisions and those carrying out such plans practically don't have a coherent and general framework so that they would decide based on that and assess the destructive outcomes and costs of their hideous actions."
Mohammad Reza Jalaipour is a graduate student at Oxford University and has not been able to return to his studies and wife who is residing in UK for more than a year and despite his release, his passport has not been returned back to him yet.
