Iranian President Chief of Staff Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaei said the country pursues receiving compensation for losses and casualties inflicted on the country during the World War I and II.
"The issue is on the agenda following the order
of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad," Rahim-Mashaei said in a seminar on Iran's
compensation over the two wars on Wednesday dubbed "Iran, the Bridge of

He continued, "The two wars imposed pretty heavy financial and mental losses as well as considerable number of casualties on Iran."
Also the Head of Iran's Cultural Heritage and Tourism
Organization, Hamid Baghaei taking part in the seminar said, "we are obliged to
receive compensation for World War II."
"This is the worst news for Western countries that Iran is seeking its rights and compensation of World War II," he noted.
"Iran harshly hit by colonialists expects the Allies to offer apology for Iranian nation at least," he said.
"We should accomplish our duty," he said, Russia, Britain and the US must lay down their arrogance and know that Iran prevented their destruction."
