Jordan's King Abdullah II is to visit Iran following official invitation of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Ahmadinejad's Chief of Staff Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaei submitted a letter of
invitation to King Abdullah II during his trip in capital Amman.
Mashaei said Jordan King's trip to Iran turns a new page in bilateral relations and that, "the two countries hold massive potentials to work together and the capabilities should be best used."
Mashaei continued Islamic unity is the most important factor which removes threats, "if Islamic states stand united, no country will be threatened."
King Abdullah II on his part said his country recognizes Iran's nuclear rights and supports its access to peaceful nuclear technology.
