Feminism, cry of crushed women's protest in capitalism: Ahmadinejad

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called feminism "cry of protest of crushed women in capitalism system."

Speaking in the third meeting of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) female ministers opened in Tehran on Sunday, Ahmadinejad criticized countries which have banned women from education and send them away in far areas for tough and hard military operations.

"Women are main victims of the ruling bullying policies, actually feminism is the cry of protest of crushed women in capitalism system," Ahmadinejad said in the first day of the three-day conference.

He called for drawing up a charter on the role of women and family in survival of human being.

Iranian President then asked for arranging a roadmap to launch a global movement to secure rights of human being and women.

Representatives of 37 member states of the OIC took part in the session joined also by the wife of Ahmadinejad.

Qatar, Egypt, Syria, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bangladesh, Cameron, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, UAE, Azerbaijan, Djibouti, Bahrain, Somali, Malaysia, Brunei, Palestinian, Lebanon, Kuwait, Albania, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Libya, Guinea-Bissau, Jordan, Lebanon, Niger, Chad and Senegal are among participants.
