"All people who participate in the rallies are brothers and sisters, so they
should tolerate each other," said Hossein Hamedani, the commander of Tehran's
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Saying that marchers belong to the same country and should chant revolutionary,
national, and Islamic slogans, he emphasized no one should shout divisive
slogans.
He also expressed hope that all people, even those opposed to the performance of
the administration, call in chorus for the realization of Imam Khomeini's
ideals.
The high-ranking commander went on to say that the IRGC will not let a certain
political group appropriate Bahman 22, because it is believed that all those who
attend the rallies belong to the entire country's population.
Of course security forces will be present in the scene to keep order, he added.
