Iran Sacks Greek flight-attendant over Persian Gulf

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Greek top flight attendant of Iran's Kish Air airline with flight number 7081 was sacked by the order of Iran's Minister of Road and Transportation following using the forged name of Arabian Sea instead of Persian Gulf on the plane's monitor.

Road and Transportation Minister Hamid Behbahani said on Sunday that he ordered plane's landing shortly after passengers onboard objected using forged name of Arabian Sea.

He had also ordered the flight crew who were Greek to leave Iran soon.

On Friday night a plane owned by Kish Air airline used the forged name of Arabian Sea instead of Persian Gulf when it was displaying the flight map to the passengers on a monitor.

Passengers called for correcting the name, but the Greek top flight attendant who took an aggressive tone and threatened the passengers with arrest.
