Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans Presents: "Passing the Torch of Success to the Next Generation of Leaders"

January 5, 2010, Washington, DC - Some of the most accomplished Iranian Americans in the world will gather at The Orange County Performing Arts Center this month to share their unique success stories to an audience of over 1,700.

Shardad Rohani, Composer, Conductor and Performer, Reza Badiyi, Legendary Hollywood Film and Television Director, Asieh Namdar, CNN Anchor and Senior Writer, Judge Ashley Tabaddor, Immigration Judge (In Personal Capacity), Judge Rodin Rooyani,  Immigration Judge (In Personal Capacity), Banafsheh Akhlaghi, Former Western Region  Director of Amnesty International and Leila Vaziri, World Record Breaking Swimmer will all join this gathering to share their life stories and challenges faced in reaching their heights to help guide the next generation of young Iranian Americans in their journey of life in becoming the next generation of leaders.

The talented comedian K-Von and former CNN anchor Rudi Bakhtiar will co-host the event.

"It is truly exciting for the PAAIA team to be able to bring together another event at this caliber to our community, as we did last May with the first Passing the Torch of Success event in Los Angeles at UCLA's Royce Hall." says Babak Hoghooghi, Executive Director at PAAIA.  "This gathering will once again not only celebrate our success and contributions to America, but it will also inspire and empower our community's youth."

The "Passing the Torch of Success" event will be held at the magnificent Renee & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall (600 Town Center Drive Costa Mesa, CA) on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 2 to 5:30 p.m., with a pre-event program, starting at 1 p.m.
