The residents of the Mokhaberat and Dadgostari townships in the provincial
city of Ardebil are still waiting for natural gas to be pipelined to their
houses. In early 2008 the officials promised delivery of gas to the houses. But
the cold winter has arrived without the promises being fulfilled. So the
residents have to turn to traditional means to heat their homes and do their
cooking.
