The judiciary has already confirmed that Mr.
Ruholamini's son along with Mohammad Kamrani and Amir Javadifar were tortured to
death at Kahrizak and their deaths are being treated as first degree murder.
Earlier the media quoted the mother of 30-year-old victim saying Ramin
Ghahremani died from blood cloths in his chest. The victim had told his mother
that they had hung him from his feet for days at Kahrizak.
Adolhosein Ruholamin added that the cause of Ramin Ghahremani's death was not
revealed earlier by the authorities to "avoid hurting the public's conscience."
He claimed the case of the young man's death along with those of the other three
victims is being considered at the judiciary branch of the armed forces.

Saeed Mortazavi
Former
Tehran Prosecutor, Saeed Mortazavi has been found responsible for
the torture and death of election protesters at the infamous
detention centre Kahrizak, according to the Parliamentary Committee
report which investigated the post-election events. |
Abdolhosein Ruholamani is a prominent figure in
the Islamic Republic establishment and during the June presidential elections,
he was a senior aide to conservative candidate Mohsen Rezai.
Mohsen Rezai also disputed Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's victory at the ballot at first,
like opposition leaders MirHosein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, but Rezai withdrew
his complaints later and attended the inauguration of Ahmadinejad.
The mass protests against the outcome of the elections resulted in the arrest of
thousands of pepople.
Kahrizak detention centre was used to hold a group of detainees in the
post-election events. A recently released
report by a special
parliamentary probe committee confirmed that detainee rights were blatantly
violated there and detainees were severely tortured and abused.
Abdolhosein Ruholamini welcomed the report of the parliamentary committee but
maintained that it could have been more detailed.
Mohammad Khatami, former Iranian President, and Dariush Ghanbari, a Member of
Parliament, also maintained that certain issues were not included in the report.
In a note on Jaras website, Mr. Ghanbari writes that there is no mention of the
mass grave of post-election detainees in Tehran cemetery, Behesht-e Zahra.
Abdolhosein Ruholamini called on the officials who are accused of crimes at
Kahrizak not to resist against the reports and the revealed facts. He urged them
to resign their posts before any trial and apologize to the people.
Twelve people are accused in the case of Kahrizak crimes and Saeed Mortazavi,
former Tehran Prosecutor, is one of them.
Mortazavi has denied the charges but the probe committee members have said that
he can present his documents at court.
