Iran defeated France in the final game of the 2010 World Schools Volleyball Championship and claimed the title.

The Iranian team overpowered its European rival 3-1 (25-22, 25-15, 22-25, 25-20) on Saturday. Turkey won the bronze after defeating host Taiwan.

Iran had earlier defeated Turkey 3-0 in the semi-final round.

A total of 23 teams from around the world took part in the event in Baotou, Taiwan.
