Basij militia attacking University of Tehran - June 2009
Opposition websites have posted several videos of a reported protest at
Tehran University on June 14, the date of the first anniversary of an attack by
security forces on a university dormitory in which several students were killed
and many were injured.
In this video, students chant "Allah Akbar" while holding pictures of some of their classmates who were killed in the crackdown that followed the disputed reelection of Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad.

The Daneshjoonews website reports that several hundreds students took part in the protest, reportedly held under the watch of plain-clothes agents. The website, which covers developments related to the student movement, says security forces were calling on guards to confiscate the identity cards of protesting students and hand them over.
The website reports that clashes broke out between students and security forces who wanted to detain two female protesters, who reportedly managed to escape with the help of their classmates.
