The young contemporary artist Samira Hodaei is
exhibiting her series of work, "Stones and Mute Birds" which she created during
her stay as Artist in Residence in Emmenbrücke-Luzern.
On completing her Bachelor studies at the Al Zahra University in Tehran, the artist worked as an assistant for the internationally renowned artist Reza Derakshani. Furthermore, Samira Hodaei has participated in several group exhibitions in Tehran.
The opportunity of working in an environment several thousand kilometers away from her own country has strongly influenced the young artist.
