Iranian cyclists win seven medals in Track Asia Cup

Iranian cyclists claimed seven medals in the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC) Track Asia Cup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In the three-day event which finished on Sunday, Seyyed Reza Jebraieli won the bronze medal in men's Junior Sprint. He also claimed the bronze in the Keirin event. Mahmoud Parash took silver in men's senior Keirin.

Iran's men's junior team sprint trio was defeated by Malaysia and won the silver. Ali Morshedloo won silver in men's junior 1 km Time Trial behind Thailand's Satjakul Sianylam.

In the men's senior team sprint, Iran managed to secure a silver medal after Japan. Ali Ali-Askari won the bronze in men's senior 1 km Time Trial after the South Korean and Japanese cyclists.
