Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on
Monday the ringleader of PJAK
terrorist group must be handed over to Iran to stand trial. Larijani's remarks
came after it was reported that PJAK terrorist group leader has been arrested in
Germany.

Iran had repeatedly asked Germany to arrest PJAK
leader residing in the country but Berlin responded every time that it must
consider the issue, he said.
The negotiations in this regard have been successful and the terrorist leader
has been arrested, he said and added, "he must definitely be handed over to Iran
for trial."
Germen security forces have arrested Abdurrahman Hajji Ahmadi in an operation on
5 March.
PJAK is an offshoot of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) sheltered in Iraq. The
separatist Kurdish militia carries out attacks against Iran with the purpose of
establishing an autonomous state.
Also the Head of Justice Department of Iran's Western Azerbaijan Province said a
number of key elements of PJAK terrorist group who were involved in
assassination of Khoy city prosecutor were arrested and killed.
"A number of key elements of PJAK terrorist group who were involved in
assassination of Khoy city prosecutor Vali Haji Gholizadeh were detected and
arrested," Mohammad Ali Mousavi told ISNA.
He added a number of members of the group were killed in a conflict with
security forces.
He added examinations are underway to arrest other members of the group.
Vali Haji Gholizadeh was assassinated mid January by members of PJAK terrorist
group.
