Nourizadeh, has reportedly written a letter to the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, criticizing the leader's actions in the post-election events.

Mousavi maintained that struggling in search of the truth has always been one of the main characteristics of Mohammad Nourizadeh's cultural activities.

While the opposition leader expressed his hopes that the detained filmmaker will be released, he added that "in the coming months everyone must try their utmost best to struggle for the demands of the people."
