The 23rd Tehran International Book Fair which opened officially at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla on May 4th will run untill May 15. The fair is hosting 980 foreign publishers from some 90 countries.

Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) is Iran's most important cultural event. It is the biggest general public and sales fair in Central Asia and the Middle East. According to official information, 1,900 Iranian and 1,700 international exhibitors from 79 countries presented their publishing products in 2009. Estimated at 5 million, the crowds of visitors broke all previous records.
Tehran International Book Fair will run until May 15.
