Memphis Grizzlies' center Hamed Haddadi said that he is keen on staying in Memphis Grizzlies, but he would leave the team if he received an attractive offer.
The 2.18 meter basketball player, who joined the NBA club Memphis Grizzlies as a free-agent on August 28, 2008, talked about his future in an interview with the Iranian sports daily Khabar Varzeshi.
"I have good relations with my teammates and the coach in Grizzlies. I would prefer to stay here, but the team's officials have not yet talked to me about extending my contract," Haddadi said.
Iran is in Group B of the 16th FIBA World Basketball Championship along with the U.S., Slovenia, Tunisia, Croatia and Brazil.
"The World Championship is a good arena where we can show our potential. Iran is not afraid of the big teams in the tournament," he added.
