Source: Mehr News Agency, Tehran

Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani says the remarks made about the 'Iranian school of thought' rather than the Islamic school of thought is "divisive".

Such remarks go against the Islamic beliefs and must not be repeated, Larijani told a meeting of judicial officials on Sunday.

Iran must set a model for the Muslim world, he added.

Promotion of "Iranian school of thought rather than the Islamic school of thought" was first proposed by Presidential Chief of Staff Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei which met widespread criticism.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Larijani commented on the Leader's visit to the holy city of Qom and said that the warm welcome people gave the Leader proved that the claims made by certain foreign media outlets are baseless.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made a 10-day visit to Qom starting on October 19 and was heartily welcomed upon his arrival. The Leader returned to Tehran on Friday, October 29.
