Three days after the arrest of Iranian journalist, Nazanin Khosravani, Iranian security forces carried out another search of her home.
Kaleme website reports that Islamic Republic security forces
went to Khosravani's home where he parents were told to open the doors for
further investigations without presenting a search warrant. The family was told
that if the family does not comply, they would break the door and windows.
The family thus contact the police who finally corroborate the identity of the officials. The family then allows the officials to search the house after which they confiscated a laptop.
Nazanin Khosravani was arrested on Tuesday and her whereabouts are still unknown.
Khosravani has worked with several reformist newspapers and publications, many of which are currently banned.
After the controversial and contested victory of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the 2009 presidential elections, numerous journalists have been arrested and newspapers shut down to quell the widespread protests to vote rigging.
