Kaleme website reports that Mousavi was prevented from entering the mosque where the family was holding the funeral of his daughter's father-in-law, Bahram Salimi.

The funeral was attended by several Iran-Iraq War veterans and their families as three of Bahram Salimi's sons were killed in the War.

According to the report, Mir Hossein Mousavi and a number of their friends and relatives had prepared a message of condolence for the papers, but the authorities also refused to allow the newspapers to publish it.

Security forces have also been deployed in front of Mehdi Karroubi, the other opposition leader restricting people from visiting him as is customary during the Eid-e Qorban (Eid al-Adha).

Islamic Republic authorities have been using every tactic to isolate and restrict the activities of the two opposition leaders.

In his latest statement, Mir Hossein Mousavi denied the effect of these efforts, stating: "Despots are becoming more and more isolated every day suspecting everything and everyone, while pushing away those who were their true friends yesterday."

In September Mir Hossein Mousavi's office was also raided and all his books, computers and equipment confiscated by the authorities.
