'Painter and Model', Picasso
The exhibition, to be run from October 15, 2010 to January 30, 2011, comes to celebrate the Swiss museum's centenary.
The Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts is only one of the many prestigious collections and museums which have contributed to the event. The artwork sent from Tehran to Zurich is Picasso's Painter and the Model.
The exhibition will display works from Picasso's early days as well as his blue and pink periods, his Cubist phase, and his "urbane" classical period.

Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907) and Guernica (1937) are among his best-known works.
