Photos: Injured Eagle Rescued by Animal-Lovers and Kolbeh Suregons in Karaj, Iran

An eagle that had been shot and injured with a broken left leg, was rescued by Iranian environmentalists and animal-lovers. The eagle was taken to Kolbeh Clinic for Animals in Karaj where he was operated on by the surgical staff. After three hours of surgery, the eagle was patched up and is now being kept under observation.
