A historic church in Kerman, which had been registered in Iran's national monuments list, is the latest victim of ruthless bulldozers! The church was flattened last week and perhaps this way its misery due to years of neglect came to an end! Many other historic monuments in Iran have had similar fates of neglect and destruction. Kerman is a city in Iran. It is the center of Kerman Province. Located in a large and flat plain, this city is located 1,076 km (669 mi) south of Tehran, the capital of Iran. Kerman city had an estimated population of 533,799 in 2005
