Iran: Call By University Students To Attend Funeral Of The Feb 14 Green Martyr
Source: Daneshjoo NewsIn protest to the lies spread by the government propaganda machine regarding Green Martyr - Sane' Zhaleh, member of the public council of the Islamic Association of Tehran University Art School who was directly shot and killed by security forces on Feb 14, 2011 when he was attending the peaceful demonstration- Zhaleh's classmates called on students to attend the funeral ceremony of this Green martyr tomorrow and do not let the pro-government propaganda machine dilute the truth about this noble Green martyr.
Some of the pro-government website have been spreading rumors
that Zhaleh was a member of the Basij (hardliner pro-government militia
organization) and was shot and killed by what they called "enemies of the
revolution" on Feb 14, 2011.
According to some reports even the government is pressuring Zhaleh's family to
appear on state-run TV and admit that their son was pro-government and blame the
opposition for his death in order to make another confession-show as they have
been doing in the past years.
This is while Zhaleh has been a member of a reformist organization in the
university that he was studying art and was participating in yesterday's
demonstration in response to the call made by Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi
Karroubi in solidarity with freedom-seeking movements in the region to cry
freedom for his country... May he rest in peace.
