"We feel optimistic on the next round of talks between Iran
and P5+1 in Istanbul. We believe that we benefit and the other side is harmed
with the passage of time," Salehi said on Saturday at a press conference with
representatives and presidents of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) troika which
includes Iran, Egypt and Cuba, Group of 77, the Arab League and Venezuelan and
Syrian ambassadors to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The foreign delegation visited Arak heavy water reactor installations on Saturday.
"We hope to insert the first fuel plate into Tehran reactor by next 10 months and since then there will be no justification for fuel swap offer if the scheduled time passes."
Salehi also criticized some western countries which rejected Iran's invitation to tour the nuclear sites and said, "the other side chooses to condemn us instead of encouragement when we take every step. They condemned themselves when they refused our invitations."
He added, "Iran is ready to present its nuclear achievements under the framework of Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and the IAEA safeguards."

Also regarding the IAEA request for further inspection of
Iran's nuclear facilities, Salehi said, "the IAEA inspectors have been staying
in Isfahan and inspection is nothing new."
Salehi then rejected problems created in Iran's nuclear drive due to sanctions and said, "sanctions have created no problem, we are pressing ahead with our nuclear work. We witnessed steps for start-up of Bushehr nuclear plant and the facility is to be connected to national grid in couple of months."
"We continue to press ahead with nuclear enrichment, we have found special firms for fuel production to be visited in next months. The firm is one of the most advanced ones used for fuel production. Iran is one of few countries making fuel plate."
Iranian senior nuclear official also said Arak 40-megawatts rector used for production of radiopharmaceuticals is to be run by next 3 months and it is to meet Iran's needs for radiopharmaceuticals and drugs.
Also Iran unveiled deuterated compounds produced in Arak heavy water reactor facility as well as two new radiopharmaceuticals on Saturday.
