Due to requests from the student community, NIAC is extending its application deadline for the Summer 2011 Fellowship Program. Students now have until Friday, February 4 to submit their application. For more information on the Program and new deadlines, click here.
Each year, NIAC brings
Iranian-American students interested in government and public policy to our
nation's capital for hands-on learning opportunities. You get direct work
experience by interning in Senate or House offices on Capitol Hill or at NIAC's
headquarters for three months between June and August. Your work experience
will be enhanced by the ability to take advantage of the capital's rich variety
of seminars, panel discussions, academic events as well as vibrant arts and
cultural scene. These fellowship opportunities allow you to begin building your
professional network and are often a stepping-stone to careers in government,
major media outlets or leading NGOs.
Thanks to the generous support of the Parsa Community Foundation, NIAC is pleased to announce that we are expanding our Fellowship program this year to include two new Senior Fellowship opportunities, which provide a stipend of $3,000 per person. These will be offered in addition to our four Public Service Fellowships and our two Sarafan-Ghorbani Fellowships, each of which carry a stipend of $1,000.
NIAC is proud to be able to help today's students become tomorrow's leaders. For more information on the Fellowship programs, including how to apply, click here.
