Hamed Haddadi, the first Iranian to play in the NBA, joined IAAB at Camp Ayandeh yesterday.

"This was an awesome experience for me, to see all these young Iranians gathered together in this atmosphere," said Haddadi. "I had so much fun playing basketball with them and getting to meet them. Thanks to all at IAAB for making this happen."

Haddadi engaged the campers in shoot-offs and competitions for two hours. The winners received signed copies of his shoes, his jersey, and official NBA gear.

"This was the best day of my life," said Ashkon, a 14 year old camper who teamed up with Haddadi in a two-on-two game with other campers.
