The Islamic Azad University is slated to hold the second 'National Conference on Combating Desertification and Sustainable Development of Iran Desert Wetlands' from September 14 to 15 to study the role of novel technologies in de-desertification.
Among the goals of this conference to be held in the faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Arak Islamic Azad University is to identify the potentials and limitations of deserts, arid lands and desert wetlands as a plan for future management. The contributory role of nanotechnology in this regard is emphasized by the conference holders.
