Iranian athletes have won two more medals on the last day of the 37th World Junior Weightlifting Championships in Malaysia to lead Iran to the crown of the games for the first time.

Iranian Bahador Molaei's gold and Alireza Kazeminejad's silver medals in the +105 category contributed to Iran's medal bonanza by taking the country's point tally to an unassailable 577, IRIB reported.
Molaei hoisted 177 kilograms in the snatch and 231 kilograms in the clean and jerk to secure the gold with a total of 408 kilograms ahead of his Iranian compatriot, Kazeminejad.
Kazeminejad followed on the heels of his teammate with an overall of 386 kilograms, 169 kilograms in the snatch and 217 kilograms in the clean and jerk.

The Iranian weightlifters' medal collection in the games includes eight gold, five silver and two bronze medals.
China stood second with 538 points, while Russia ended up the third with 538 points.
One hundred and fifty-seven weightlifters from 49 countries -- including eight from Iran -- competed in the games held in the Malaysian city of Penang.
