The construction of the world's largest petrochemical complex for producing urea and ammonia fertilizer has started in Iran.
The construction of Iran's urea and ammonia fertilizer producing complex in Masjed Soleyman has been financed by private sector and $4 billion investment from China.
Masjed Soleyman's petrochemical complex has the capacity of producing 4 billion metric tonnes of products annually and is recognized to be one of the world's largest petrochemical facilities.
The construction of the petrochemical complex has been planned to complete within the next 40 months.
