Iran's Mahram lost to Al Riyadi of Lebanon in the final match of the 22nd FIBA Asia Champions Cup on Sunday.
Mahram, which was defeated by the Lebanese team in the preliminary round, lost again against the team 89-82 in Manila's PhilSports Arena.
Al Rayan of Qatar defeated the Philippines' Smart Gilas 71-64 in the third-place match.
Samad Nikkhah Bahrami, who scored 28 points for Mahram, said: "We lost to the better team on the floor. There's nothing more to it."
Iran had won the last four editions of the events that began in 1981 in Hong Kong, with Sabah Battery of Tehran bagging the titles in 2007 and 2008, before Mahram did its share in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
