The 2011 Farhang Foundation Short Film Festival received 73 submissions from all over the globe, including the United States, Iran, Canada, and China to name a few. We are proud to announce that Farhang Foundation has selected the following six submissions as the finalists of this year's online film contest, based on their originality, creativity, storytelling, production value, and visualization of Iranian heritage.
The top 3 winners will be announced and awarded on March 13, 2011 before a live audience at Farhang Foundation's annual Nowruz celebrations, taking place at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

About Farhang Foundation
Farhang Foundation is a non-religious, non-political and not-for-profit foundation established in 2008 to celebrate the art and culture of Iranian-Americans in its widest extent. The foundation supports academic activities in Southern California by funding university programs, publications and conferences. The foundation also supports cultural programs such as celebration of Nowruz and Mehregan, theater, dance performances, films screenings and poetry reading in Southern Californioa.
