Many Iranians travel during the Persian New Year Norouz holidays. Qeshm Island in Persian Gulf is among the favorite destinations for Norouz travelers since it's a place to relax and do sightseeing as well.

Qeshm is an island situated in the Strait of Hormuz off the south coast of Iran and east of the Persian Gulf. Qeshm Island is located a few kilometers off the southern coast of Iran, opposite the port cities of Bandar Abbas and Bandar Khamir.
