Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said al-Saud dynasty is not in a position to pose a threat against Iran. Saudi Arabia is rallying Muslim nations across the Middle East and Asia to join an informal Arab alliance against Iran.

"Al-Saud dynasty is not in a position to threaten Iran and that al-Saud will never dare to pose military threat against Iran," Vahidi said on Sunsday.
Also regarding (Persian) Gulf Cooperation Council (P)GCC statement that accuses Iran of meddling in Bahrain's domestic affairs, he said, "anyone who looks at the scene in Bahrain will find out who is really intervening in Bahrain's matters."
"A simple examination will show that which country has deployed its forces across Bahrain and is meddling in the country's issues," Vahidi noted.
Iran has already condemned deployment of troops from Saudi Arabia and the UAE to Bahrain to help suppress popular demands in the country which only call for more civil rights and freedom.
The PGCC member states issued a statement at a ministerial meeting in Abu Dhabi earlier this month accusing Iran of interference in Bahrain's internal affairs.
Iran strongly rejected the claim and said interference means deploying troops and killing people in a foreign country, alluding to the deployment of the Saudi-led (P)GCC forces in Bahrain.
