Students at Zanjan University held a gathering on Monday to protests plans for gender segregation at Iranian universities. The students were in particular demanding removal of a wall erected in the cafeteria separating male and female students.
During the rally, the students sang the popular "my school friend" song and chanted slogans such against gender segregation. The students plan to hold another rally on Sunday unless their demand is met.
