Iranian women Wushu practitioners have put in excellent performance at the 11th World Wushu Championships in Ankara, Turkey, and captured three gold medals.

Maryam Hashemiforoud recorded impressive victories in her march to the final and collected the gold medal in the women's 65 kg category of the Sanda section on Friday after she defeated Radovicescu Georgiana from Romania, IRIB reported.
Shahrbanou Mansourian overpowered Turkey's Elif Keles in the women's 70 kg category of the Sanda section, and was awarded the gold medal.
Maliheh Fazli beat her Italian opponent Di Biase Antonia in the final match of women's 75 kg category of the Sanda section and won the gold medal.
The 11th World Wushu Competition opened in Turkish capital city of Ankara on October 9 and wraps up on October 14.
About 700 athletes from over 83 countries compete in the sports event, according to a statement posted on the Turkish Wushu Association website.
