Open Letter by Professor Akbar Montaser, George Washington University

Dear President Obama:
As a Lincoln Republican, I supported you in 2008 along with nearly 5,000 friends, all individuals who only walk the path of rectitude. I borrowed $5000 to contribute to your campaign in 2008, still paying my debt.
Please do not threaten the citizens of Iran! The people of my birth land seek no wars. Yet, History Shows We Bump Into any Contest and Wage any Worth to Trounce Domination by Anyone. One Must Be Beware of The Lions!
The current so-called terrorist plot is a diversion, but not by the tormenter government of President Ahmadinejad. It is by a more fascist faction who only intends to invite US to continue its past dim policies since 1953 when CIA overthrew the elected Prime Minister of Iran, Dr. Mossadegh. It is an inside job against another faction in Iran, trying to prevent any reconciliation between the citizens if Iran and US.
If the United States embarks on any adventurous policy on Iran, as it did in Iraq and Afghanestan, US will only realize that Iraq and Afghanestan represented garden parties compared to any war on Iran.
Some 2500 years ago, Cyrus The Great stated: “Today, I announce that everyone is free to choose a religion. People are free to live in all regions and take up a job provided that they never violate other's rights.” He was considered a redeemer not ever a conqueror.
Iranians are the honored spiritual descendants of the King, the citizens of the world. Millions live in the plot of land known as Iran. The vast majority, unbound humans with spiritual convictions, breathe in all countries, metropolises, and parishes of the globe. Irrespective of nationality, color, or faith, Persians hold the Cyrus Charter prized. Iranian practice and uphold towering principles and convey the wealth of humanity to the subsequent age bands. Advocating Good Thoughts, Good Speech and Good Deeds is the way of life.
Akin to Cyrus the Great, Persians consider humanity as ONE widely dispersed family. Our history is prized. The citizens of Iran are inimitable. It is fit to let the tyrants know: we bump into any contest and wage any worth to trounce autocracy. Beware of the lions.
We are civilized and we demand civility. Our honor is our terrain. Mr. President: Do not be misled.
