These photos show harvesting of Rutabaga in the city of Sirjan in Iran's province of Kerman.
Rutabaga is a root vegetable that originated as a cross between cabbage and turnip. The roots are prepared for food in a variety of ways, and its leaves can also be eaten as a leaf vegetable. Rutabaga is a cool-season crop. Since it is harvested during fall, rutabaga makes a great crop for winter storage. Being rich in vitamin C, dietary fiber, potassium and antioxidant compounds, it is believe that rutabaga helps decrease the risk of several serious medical conditions and it may help prevent osteoarthritis, cancer, hypertension, age-related macular degeneration, and grippe as well as heart disease (read more on wikipedia)
