"The E3+3 remain fully committed to having another round of talks, led by the EU High Representative together with the E3+3 Political Directors, with Dr. Jalili as soon as possible" spokesman of Catherine Ashton, Michael Mann told ISNA.
"For that purpose, Helga Schmid has been in contact with Dr. Bagheri last week in order to look into possible dates", he said.
However he told ISNA via an email Thursday that 5+1 "have not yet received a reply from Iran to their concrete proposal to meet".
Based on the robust and credible proposal for an initial confidence-building step made by the E3+3 at the Baghdad meeting in May 2012, the E3+3 have been looking into ways and means to refresh this proposal, he added.
As to the Iranian proposal made in Moscow to 5+1, Mann said that the six countries - Britain, France, Germany, United States, Russia and China - "have provided their reaction to the different points raised by Iran on the occasion of the talks in Moscow in June and during the E3+3 experts' meeting with Iran in Istanbul in July. "EU3+3" is the way European countries prefer to call the group of six countries.
Iran offered its proposals about nuclear program and also about non nuclear issues to the representative of the six countries in Moscow talks.
However Saeed Jalili, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said recently that after Moscow talks between Iran and 5+1, international community expect these countries could return to negotiations table with a reasonable answer to these proposals.
The six countries and Iranian diplomats have held three rounds of negotiations this year.
