Zahra Rahnavard was allowed 15 minutes away from her house arrest on Saturday December 29 to visit her father Sadegh Kazemi, who had just passed away at a hospital in Tehran.

The Kaleme website reports that Rahnavard was accompanied by security officials and was not allowed to meet any other relatives.

Rahnavard's father, who was 93, passed away on Saturday from "pulmonary infection and complications brought on by aging."

Kaleme went on to report on Sunday December 30 that Rahnavard and her husband Mir Hossein Mousavi were not allowed to attend the burial of Sadegh Kazemi and instead were only allowed a short visit with Rahnavard's mother at her home on Saturday night.

The visit was carried out at a time when no other relatives were present at the home of Rahnavard's parents and the opposition leader's daughters were not given an opportunity to offer their condolences to their mother.

Last March, Mir Hossein Mousavi's father passed away, and Mousavi, who was and is under house arrest, was not allowed to attend his funeral.

Mousavi and Rahnavard have been under house arrest since February of 2011, after the Iranian opposition leaders rallied their supporters to demonstrate in solidarity with the Arab uprisings in the region.

The couple is denied contact with the outside world and even the occasional visits with their children are limited and heavily supervised.
