Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei visited the families of Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan and Dariush Rezaiinejad, the two Iranian academics killed in terrorist attacks, late on Thursday.

Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan, a graduate of Sharif University of Technology in chemical engineering and an official at the Natanz nuclear enrichment facility, was killed in Tehran on January 11.

Dariush Rezaii, 45, a university professor, was killed in Tehran on July 23, 2011.

Ayatollah Khamenei told Ahmadi-Roshan's family that Iran takes pride in its intellectuals and their martyrdom paves the way for Islam's progress.

After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the enemies said that the path of science has been blocked in the country, but Iranian intellectuals proved them wrong, the Leader said.

In his meeting with Rezaiinejad's family, Ayatollah Khamenei stated that the assassinations of Iranian scientists show how great their works are.
