Iranian Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi said no decision has been made on lowering output export, adding the case is related to repairing oil wells. His remarks came after some reports said that Iran plans to drop oil exports by 30 percent.
Iran's deputy oil minister and managing director of the National Iranian Oil Co. Ahmad Qalebani said last week that Iran may drop crude output by 20-30 percent due to fixing and keeping oil wells.
He said plans to repair the oil wells may come concurrent with the sanctions.
