Iranian graphic designer wins at German competition

Iranian graphic designer Maryam Khaleghi Yazdi is among 30 winners of Mut Zur Wut 2012, a German poster competition. She was recognized for her two posters entitled "Chernobyl's Gift" and "Don't Leave Your Kid in the Virtual World".


"Chernobyl's Gift"

The winners were announced last week. The works were selected from 1475 posters created by 935 participants from 56 countries.

The selected works are currently on display at Heidelberg and Mannheim galleries in exhibitions that will run until August 28.


"Don't Leave Your Kid in the Virtual World"

The "Mut zur Wut" (Courage to rage) is a competition which gives designers the opportunity to create a poster on a theme of their choice.
