Campaign Ayandeh...Ready. Set. Grow with Us!

Source: Iranian Alliances Across Borders (IAAB)

On the eve of the inaugural of IAAB Summer Leadership Institute, hundreds of Iranian American high school and middle school students from all over the United States and Europe (our first international participants!) anxiously await for the much celebrated Camp Ayandeh and Camp Javan. With the start of IAAB's 7th Camp Ayandeh, we have reached the midway point of our three year commitment from PARSA Community Foundation to turn IAAB from and all-volunteer organization to one with paid staff members. The generosity illustrated by PARSA has greatly impacted IAAB programs. In the short 1.5 years since the PARSA grant, IAAB has:

  • opened an office in New York City;
  • organized the largest network of Iranian student organizations, with over 50 participating universities and colleges
  • expanded the reach of Camp Ayandeh by adding a record number of participants every year;
  • and among others, created the Summer Leadership Institute, which includes the much celebrated Camp Ayandeh and Camp Javan, a sister camp for middle school students

To keep our momentum going, IAAB is launching Campaign Ayandeh, a year-long effort to help raise awareness about IAAB and its programs, and raise the necessary capital that will allow one of the largest Iranian grassroots organizations in the country to continue to grow and succeed. IAAB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.

Help us make 2012 our community's strongest year yet.

Suggested donations range from $50-$250, but all amounts are welcome and much appreciated. Make a 100% tax-deductible donation to IAAB today.

Keep up with Ayandeh and Javan on IAAB Blog!

It is only fitting that the IAABlog ( be launched with the start of IAAB's Summer Leadership Institute. As training comes to a close, IAAB's staff anxiously await the arrival of the vibrant and unique Iranian American teenagers that will be arriving in Los Angeles today. Each day will be chronicled with posts, photos, and videos. To get a taste of staff and counselor preparation, visit the blog. We hope to document the program so that you, our supporters and community members, can join us even if only virtually and be a part of the Ayandeh experience.
