The comedy drama "Please Do Not Disturb" by Iranian director Mohsen Abodlvahab won the best film award at the Persian International Film Festival, which was held from 23 to 27 in Sydney, Australia. In addition, the best short film award of the festival went Iranian filmmaker Amir Azizi's "The Silly".

Barzegar were other Iranian movies that were screened at the event.
Short films "Bitter Milk" by Nasser Zamiri, "Delete" by Kazem Molaii, "Going..." by Salem Salavati, "Mr. Mozaffari's Somewhat Simple Life" by Abbas Nezamdust, "Released" by Amir Parsamehr and Peyman Rahimi and "The Road is Closed" by Vahid Hajiluii also went on screen during the event.
The festival also paid tribute to world-renowned Iranian director Asghar Farhadi, screening his Oscar-winning film "A Separation" and his "About Elly", "Fireworks Wednesday", "The Beautiful City" and "Dancing in the Dust".
Mani Petgar, Michelle Langford, Nasser Palangi, Seifollah Samadian and Yalda Hakim were the jury members of the festival.
