Iran plans to mass produce Runna -- the second domestically-produced sedan -- late May or early June.
Iranian Supplying Automotive Parts Co (SAPCO)'s Deputy for Technical and Engineering said the second Iranian domestically-made car dubbed "Runna", 70 percent of which has been made by domestic technology, would be mass produced late May or early June.
Mehdi Radmanesh said the corporation is going to design and build more car parts by domestic technology and added Iran has planned to manufacture 1.5 million sedans and export 150 thousands by 2025.
According to Radmanesh, the company seeks exporting 30 percent of car parts in CKD and CBU forms by 2025.
He added two home-made platforms would be made as well.
Radmanesh noted 16 foreign top corporations from Germany, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, South Korea and China have attended the Iranian Dies and Tools International Exhibition.
