Four were killed and 36 wounded as a train derailed in the central Iranian province of Yazd Saturday morning. According to a local official, the train was travelling from Zahedan in southeastern country to the capital, Tehran, when it derailed while entering a station at 23:50 local time (2020 GMT) Friday night.

Mohammad dehqanpour, who heads the provincial trains organization, also told IRNA the engine and two wagons derailed, killing three of the organization's staff and a woman passenger.
He said the train was carrying 324 passengers.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation, he added.
